Christine Bradley, Registered Nurse at The Vale Care Home in Bolsover has been crowned ‘Registered Nurse of the Year’ at the Four Seasons Care Awards.
The award Christine won commends her for going above and beyond the call of duty to make a difference to the daily experiences of those in her care.
Following over 1,000 nominations, Christine was shortlisted with five other Registered Nurses selected from over 250 Four Seasons Care Homes across the UK.
Joanne Strain, Head of Nursing for Four Seasons Health Care, who presented Christine with this award said: “Christine stood out for her dedication, going above and beyond and always with a smile on her face. Christine received multiple nominations for this award which goes to show how valued and well thought of she is by fellow colleagues and families. Congratulations Christine, you are a very deserving winner of this award.”
Emma Hall, Home Manager for The Vale Care Home said: “Christine goes above her job role and is always there when you or any of the residents need her. She always has a smile on her face. She rarely has a sick day and never lets her colleagues down. Well done Christine, you are a worthy winner of this award.”
On receiving the award, Christine said: “I feel very privileged to be recognised in this way. Winning this award has come as a complete shock. Thank you to the person or persons who nominated me.”
