Leanne Pennyfather, Personal Assistant for the South East of England has been crowned ‘Regional and Central Support Team Member of the Year’ at the Four Seasons Care Awards.
The award Leanne won commends her for the support she’s given to the care homes in her region, not just to her colleagues but to residents and their families through everyday tasks, making each experience special for the individual.
Leanne was up against five other 'Regional Finalists' in this category from different Four Seasons Care Homes.
James Robson, Change Delivery Director for Four Seasons Health Care, who presented Leanne with this award said: “Central support team members are sometimes the unsung heroes of this organisation. Without their help and support, some of the functions we perform wouldn’t be possible. All of the nominees were fantastic advocates for this award. However, Leanne just pipped the others to the final post. Congratulations Leanne.”
Fiona Williams, Managing Director for the South East of England, said: “Leanne has supported both myself and the Regional Mangers over the last year often covering the whole team. During this time she has remained cheerful and professional. Despite Leanne giving 100% during work times, she has also made herself available during the evenings and weekends, without her support and knowledge the region would have struggled. Nothing is too much, even when this has meant that she has had to give up some of her annual leave to help support the homes and team. Leanne has the ability to motivate and support her colleagues when workloads are high, during this time she always has a cheerful disposition and goes the extra mile on a daily basis. Congratulations Leanne!”
On receiving the award, Leanne said: “I’m very proud and humbled to have won this award. I love my job, and helping other people so they can make a difference to the residents they look after is complete job satisfaction for me.”
